The Dior Project

This project stems from an call for an exhibit with the the theme My passion is.... Of course, my passion is photography but it is not my only passion; I have always enjoyed sewing for me but mostly for the fshion dolls of my collection. For this purpose, I seek inspiration in looking at the couture runway shows and attending fashion exhibit when I get a chance. In the past few years, I had the great joy of going to a couple of Dior exhibits: the first one in 2019 at the Dallas Museum of Art in Texas: From Paris to the World, Dallas" and the other at the beginning of 2024 at the original House of Dior itself 30 avenue Montaigne in Paris. Here are a few of my favorite shots. The first 6 images in the gallerie are on exhibit in the Fuquay Varina Art Center in North Carolina.
